In this section, I will talk about the body positive movement from the exploration culture from unit eleven of lingrolearning. Another example I will use is the blackboard discussion from unit thirteen about immigration. These things help me learn about personal beliefs about immigration and the expression of fashion.

What I found interesting during my research on the body positive movement in Spanish-speaking countries was that a lot of times mostly women benefited from this movement. The reason why the body positive movement was created was to show that everyone deserves to have a chance to be who they are. In Spanish-speaking countries, it ignited a spark because of the stereotyping and unattainable beauty it made women feel. Another example is a discussion board where we talked about immigration and how the rate of increase it had in Spanish-speaking countries. I may not personally know a few people who are immigrants but I know some of my friends have friends who are separated from their families. Just hearing the conversations they have I understand that it is hard to leave behind everything you know. these things both taught me how important the culture values their images, beliefs, and family.
