The two assignments I will use for interpretive listening will be on favorite sports and one of my listening assignments from lingo learning. I believe these assignments helped me with my listening skills a little but did not push them further along. In the future, I will strive to adjust more to interpret what I am listening to.

When I think of interpretive listening sometimes It is all about comprehending what is being said. Sometimes it is hard for me to do that so my solution is to use context clues from the conversation. I cannot catch the entire sentence when it is being spoken but I am able to make out some words into what I am trying to say or speak to conjure up what I know and don’t know. Understanding my vocabulary a little helped me understand some conversations based on the topic. It is easier for me to play off the topic of the conversation so that way I will be able to understand what is being said. The pace of one’s speaking is really hard for my brain to keep up but I guess the difference is that I am not experienced in the Spanish speaking than some people. If I practice pronouncing words and phrases more and to stop stuttering when I talk then maybe i will be able to catch and hear words more than comprehending.
