In this section, I will use the conditional listening assignment in unit sixteen from lingrolearning. Another assignment is image matching assignment for my vocabulary homework in unit thirteen from lingrolearning.
Listening to the conditional tense for the first half of the section I had to figure out what was future, conditional, and imperfect. The part that was unclear was figuring out what was in the conditional and imperfect because both tenses are the same. I believe that with some of the sentences I needed to figure out what sounded like to be conjugated in the regular imperfect form instead of the conditional sense. The second half of the section was telling what verb form it was in. That was easy until I had to listen for the Nosotros form which I could hear that well because it sounded so close to the Ellos/ustedes forms. Another assignment was the image matching assignment where I had to figure out which image goes to each statement. It was a refresher for my vocabulary for that unit and sometimes I could not catch what they say. When I bump into an obstacle often I always listen for context clues to understand the sentence if I cannot figure out the correct phrase. My takeaway from this experience is that when all else fails always use context clues to help guide your way. Another thing would be to play back a few times to hear something different from before.
