For this section, I will use the interpretive reading article titled 25 Reasons Why The Eglish Natives Should Learn Spanish. Another Article in this section I will be using is Study In Spain. Both articles help with understanding the importance of Spanish and how it shapes wonderful opportunities.
These articles helped me grow throughout the semester where they both talk about the benefits of learning Spanish and letting it become a second nature of language. It made me realize how important and how much you can benefit from learning Spanish. I did not have any difficulties or trails obtaining this information it just made me stop and think about why should I get back into Spanish again. Due to personal experiences doing Spanish previously I had a bad experience which requires me to be nervous every time I speak because I am afraid I will be lectured for saying the wrong thing. These articles helped me overcome that fear because It reminded me why I was doing it in the first place. What I took away from both articles is that it’s okay to step out of being simple minded and embrace the world around you. It helped me grow my mind and self confidence to continue practicing and speaking Spanish. It gave me more knowledge and the opportunities I can have by overcoming the language barrier.
