Interpretive reading

In this section, I will talk about the magazine ad from unit eleven from lingrolearning. Another reading assignment I will use is about biodiversity in Spanish speaking states from unit twelve of lingrolearning.

For the biodiversity assignment where we learned about the many things that are harmful to the environment. Within the reading, we learned about where some of these important people live to explain what goes on in their neighborhood. The difficulty for me with reading and applying this information was slowly understanding the purpose of the assignment. Sometimes when I struggle to comprehend what I am reading in another language especially when the content is important I often ask myself what is the purpose. What I found compelling was using context clues but learning about what biodiversity is and the effects the state has because of it. It goes for the same as the clothing magazine from unit eleven. I had to apply the knowledge of how fashion was designed, expressed, and inspire. I have learned more about fashion in Spanish rather than English. I felt as though there was more strategy in numbers than words. My takeaway from these readings was that it was interesting to see what their takeaway on fashion and biodiversity was. I find it interesting to read about other people’s perspectives on the subject.
