In this section, I will use the recording of my favorite art piece from unit fourteen from lingrolearning. Another piece I will use will be about the history of author Laura Esquivel in unit fifteen from lingrolearning.

In my art presentation speaking, I had to describe a piece of art something historical, and describe what that piece mean to me and how it made me feel. It was challenging because my descriptive words were limited for the unit. The only thing that was sort of helpful was the color and there was a lot to say about it because the building was old and dull. It is hard to describe something in Spanish sometimes because what you’re thinking is not the same thing. So answering some of the questions was a bit challenging. I was able to overcome this by figuring out my new vocabulary and try combining my old vocabulary. I think what I can do better on both is be more hands-on to actually go to a location instead of looking at a picture . Another example was talking about an author and their pieces and how they impact society. I thought the literature vocabulary was right up my alley but when I think of literature I don’t think about the classical things seen in English books. I am more on the modern side of things and if the assignment was more focused that way I would have more to say. What was helpful was the research that I was able to do for this assignment. What I can do next time is maybe try to read Laura Esquivel work’s instead of researching about to have a better opinion of the author.
