The assignment I will use in this section is the calendar of events. Another assignment that will be mentioned in this section will be a formal letter. These assignments helped me plan and excel in my writing.

The Calendar of events assignment required me to think a lot because I had to document my week out in a calendar. It challenged me because I do not even plan my week out in English never thought about doing it in Spanish. I wanted to put more things in my calendar but it was not possible due to a limited vocabulary. For my Theatre classes I had to put the only thing I could remember in Spanish for the word theatre or movie. Phrasing the sentences were hard because of the limit I had for vocabulary I had to make due with what I had. In order to make the assignment a little less frustrating sticking to simple phrase to create a sentence. For example; using the word video games, and going to work, or studying. I was able to overcome the area of feeling stuck. I had the same problem for the formal letter assignment that we did. It is hard to write a formal letter in Spanish than it is in English. I had no idea we had to make up a nomination in the formal letter. How do I make up a nomination with limited vocabulary. I was overthinking the assignment so I came up with Friend of The Year award. The challenging part is about meeting the word requirement for these assignments because Spanish sentences are not that long. These assignments helped with like a normal practice I can do. I can plan out my events in Spanish for practicing my vocabulary and write a description about a person in Spanish. I should do better with not overthink when writing in Spanish.
