To engage in communities is to be human. We are social creatures and it is vital to our well-being that we have healthy social lives in our communities, whatever those communities may be. No matter if it is local or spans the globe, these communities make our individual identities. If the communities you are a part of are positive and help build each other up then there is no stopping what the human race can do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am part of a few communities as most people are. I have a great family where we all get along and support each other. My mother passed away recently and the family was here within a week from all over the country to support my dad and I, and they were there for us without question. I go to church on Sundays with my brother and his family and the people there are as wonderful as they are diverse. It is wonderful that for an hour or two a week, all these strangers, with all of our differences, come together and worship God and build friendships. I am part of a video gaming community with great people from all over the world. We sit and chat for hours and play games where teamwork is essential. This gaming community has helped me a great deal as I have helped them, and I it enabled me to take my first trip out of the United States and to France. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To engage in communities is to be human.
