The Social Media Pattern
On the Social Media Disorder test I scored a zero out of nine. I don’t find myself attached to social media in these ways at all. I have never got into verbal altercations with anyone or even skipped out on spending time with my family just to be on social media. I think that if any of the questions align with your personality you should try to change immediately. These are serious and could be signs of addiction. I think social media is very different across the world because of who you are trying to impress. In America there are many people who come from all different backgrounds. It is easy to gain attention in America because you’re not showing yourself to one audience and instead it is many cultures just in one country. In other countries like China there are many restrictions and only one audience so a social media presence isn’t as easy to attain.
