The following PDF is a self-assessment and reflection towards the progress made throughout my Spanish 101 college course.
Can-Do_Benchmarks_Indicators-wideAs can be deciphered from the assessment, a lot of my skills are advanced or “superior” because I grew up in a Hispanic household and have always been surrounded by the language and some of the culture. While I am fluent in Spanish, I still require practice in comprehending other native speakers in spontaneous conversation. I take Spanish courses to enhance my reading comprehension skills, learn about different cultures, and practice my pronunciation. Hopefully, with more practice, I can become confident in initiating complex and smooth conversation with family, friends, and Spanish-speaking strangers alike.
