My Name is Heaven Russell-Turner. I am a sophomore at Old Dominion University, pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity as a first-generation college student. Currently, I work at the university’s student recreation center, where I assist students and members by managing equipment checkouts and maintaining accurate records developing skills in organization, customer service, and attention to detail.
Through my coursework, I have gained foundational knowledge in cybersecurity principles and information management. Additionally, my role has strengthened my ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work efficiently in a structured environment.
Beyond academics, I am passionate about fitness and faith, dedicating my free time to the gym and church. Professionally, I aspire to work in program management within the cybersecurity field. I am eager for opportunities to oversee and manage projects, leveraging my problem-solving skills and creative decision-making abilities to drive innovation and efficiency.
