Cyber-policy and infrastructure development in the context of the “short arm” of predictive knowledge presents a unique dilemma. Decision-makers must evaluate both the rapid advancement of technology and the unpredictability threats that may appear as a result (LEWIN & SPIDALIERI, 2023). Being proactive, adaptive, and flexible in one’s approach is required. Also, being aware of the limitations of their predictive knowledge, policymakers and stakeholders must instead concentrate on creating strategies that can easily adjust to the changing circumstances. It is necessary to encourage a mindset that values new information and experiment above already established norms and procedures. There must be tight coordination between governments, corporate sector companies, academic institutions, and civil society to guarantee successful cybersecurity (Chertoff & Grant, 2018). Cyber-policy and infrastructure development may be stronger, more responsive, and more applicable to the ever-changing threats if resources and knowledge from various stakeholders are combined. Cyber policy and infrastructure should be combined. Decision-makers can better deploy resources and address the most critical vulnerabilities if they conduct risk assessments and rank them in order of importance. This method is useful because it allows for the most efficient use of resources while guaranteeing essential infrastructure safety. Regular evaluations are necessary to evaluate the efficiency of infrastructure and policies. Regular evaluations assist in spotting gaps, tracking development, and guide changes to infrastructure and policies, ensuring they stay applicable and successful in the face of changing threats. Both locally and globally, policymakers should promote a culture of information sharing and collaboration. The ability to prevent, identify, and respond to cyber-attacks may be increased with the timely communication of threat intelligence, best practices, and lessons learned.
