I believe equality encompasses my definition of happiness because no one is made to feel lesser because of their race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. I also learned from the Subjective Happiness Scale (SHS) that I received a 5 on that I am in the normal range for a college student. I don’t believe that true happiness can be measured because depending on the person’s view happiness is infinite. Although, some people’s happiness can be detoured because of a cultural difference a prime example is if you have to be arranged to be married to someone you don’t like and didn’t choose.

Artifact 2

Module 3 Archive was also very fun to do. I got to interview my friend on whether opposites attract and if similarities attract. The findings show that it was 50/50 in both scenarios each side made good points, so they decided to agree to disagree. This is because those similarities lead to conversations to strengthen the relationship. As well as the fact that two people are too similar, they can have a difference of opinion but if two people are opposite, they can balance each other out by giving another to the argument.

Artifact 3

In Module 5 Archive we talked about the possible self-enhancement and other-enhancement strategies that could be used in different scenarios. One scenario that I focused on was the interview situations. It basically demonstrated the best way to present yourselves because the presentation is a key factor on how people will view you, in this case, being during an interview.

Artifact 4

Module 10 Archive wanted to demonstrate that much of our behavior is influenced by powerful norms. In this archive, I found that it was very hard doing something outside of my comfort zone. People would stare and whisper behind my back so I agree with social psychologists that say we are influenced by social norms. I felt uncomfortable during the process but slowly began to not care that people were staring as the day went.

Artifact 5

In Module 4 Archive a major point that I understood from the video is that the news sometimes amplifies the realities of a crime to make it worst than it really is. This may lead to bias on a particular race because they are being misrepresented on the news as the race that is seen in crime news often. By doing this explains why it is a prime example of representative heuristics.

Artifact 1 I enjoyed doing Module 14 Archive the most because I got to express an important part of my character.
