I am currently a student at Old Dominion University, where I am pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree in cybersecurity. So far, my academic journey has been a mix of both challenges and rewards, allowing me time to develop a wide range of knowledge and skills that I hope I will be able to apply in my life outside of school. At Old Dominion University I am dedicated to building a strong foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical applications, in order to ensure that I am well prepared for the demands that may arise in this industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My passion for cybersecurity stems from my deep interest in joining an ever growing field that is full of innovation, and careers waiting to be filled. With the increasing number of cyberattacks worldwide, I have recognized the growing importance of the cybersecurity field and I, personally, hope to one day make my contribution towards a safer web space. Additionally, I try to stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends and their best practices to continuously improve my own knowledge and skills to keep myself safe online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon completing my degree, I hope to enter the cybersecurity industry, where I can apply my acquired knowledge to defend against cyber threats and safeguard critical infrastructures. In particular, I am interested in roles related to the brainstorming and implementation of security policies, and the installment of hardware and software to meet security needs. My end goal is to work for a reputable organization that values security and innovation, allowing me to be able to make a meaningful impact in the fight against all kinds of cybercrime.
