SCADA systems is an industrial control system used to control infrastructure processes like water treatment, wastewater treatment, etc, and facility-based processes like airports, space stations, ships, and etc. In the SCADA article in the first paragraph, a subsystem that is present in SCADA systems is a supervisory system that gathers all the required data about the process. This is important because it serves as a decision maker of the whole control system. It is essential in SCADA systems because without it the system could not run properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The vulnerabilities associated with critical infrastructure systems could also include the supervisory system that gathers all the required data about the process. This can become a vulnerability by its delayed response to failures. With the system’s response being delayed, it can make matters worse because operators wouldn’t be able to locate a problem until the matter gets worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SCADA applications help to reduce risks by allowing operators to monitor, control, and respond to problems quickly. I believe that this is the most important factor when it comes to the operation of the SCADA system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
