This semester has been great, and I have learned a ton, literally. The amount of information in this course is a lot and to think that we have merely scratched the surface of cell biology. Learning about cell biology is not only important for one to better understand the why, but also how we are, and what is actually happening in the body and the processes the cells had to go through for me to even type is amazing. Cell biology is also important in the field of medicine. Without the understanding of cell biology doctors and scientists worldwide would not be able to create life saving drugs, along with even basic pain killers such as Tylenol. Cell biology has been a great class for me and I know this was important to learn to better understand specifics within the field of medicine.
