January 15, 2019 – Draw a cell!

In the first week of the semester, we were asked to draw a cell by memory. I was surprised on how much I still remember considering that my memory has been rusty.

The cell drawing from the first part of the semester was a little bit detailed but there were still parts I weren’t sure of such as if animal cells have vacuoles. I also forgot parts such as chromatin, centrosomes, centromeres, centrioles which are parts that are not often discussed when studying the structure of the cell.

This time, I knew for sure that animal cells have vacuoles and I included those parts in the latest drawing of my cell structure. I have learned a lot in this semester and I wish I could also include pathways (such as Glycolysis, TCA, etc.) in my cell drawing!
