The people that mean the most to me I think are more deserving of my time but I also would expect them to understand that time is valuable and should not be wasted. I chose the image below as a representation of how I feel about time. I chose to include my color categorization below.

A3- Module 9

I found this Artifact engaging because I am especially interested in gender differences when it comes to perception and stereotypes. I learned from this activity that my partner thinks of more stereotypical roles than I do in some of the professions included. Some of the professions were similar but many different. I think being a woman I am more likely to envision women in certain roles and break the stereotype (though not always) and my partner, being a man, has the same tendency but these align more with stereotypes. I included the responses between my partner and I below.

A2- Module 4

For this activity I learned about the difference in values based on individualist vs. collectivist cultures. I chose to contrast the United States and Germany because most of my ancestral roots are in Germany but I do not know a lot about the culture. Because they are European, I was not surprised to learn that most of the values are similar compared to the United States. I was surprised to see the vast difference in long term orientation. From the site it says that Americans are focused on more short-term results while Germans have the discipline to plan and save for the future. I included an image of the comparison between the countries below.

A1- Module 12

This was my favorite Artifact activity because I am fascinated with body language and really believe in its relevance in attitude. I have read some studies that support what the TED talk was about, “Change your body, change your mind”. I have personally used power stances before going into job interviews and did notice a considerable difference in my confidence and I have even adjusted my posture during an interview when I felt out of place or not confident and felt my confidence go up when answering questions after making the adjustment. I chose a power pose to display what I feel is my predominant body language and because I am a big advocate of women’s empowerment I chose a little girl, with an empowering message using a power stance.

image source: https://www.google.com/search?q=powerful+women&tbm=isch&tbs=rimg:CW2S9yNd-fAcIjg4apqCJP3fdGW3HbwMnV3y_14178fyL-RAy8Ejx3S6OAaVAHMP7Y0aWGPMy5_1wQYmxvj6RcDtCTXSoSCThqmoIk_1d90EWlixU-r9OolKhIJZbcdvAydXfIR36UDWOC4MNcqEgn_1jXvx_1Iv5EBF6YVz3hX_1GxioSCTLwSPHdLo4BEadncOHLH4mPKhIJpUAcw_1tjRpYRCfdgPXLR1DYqEgkY8zLn_1BBibBGuyAnjX7WW3yoSCW-PpFwO0JNdEX3G4X5I1v9V&tbo=u&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj8monEmYLfAhUsWN8KHeYKBNoQ9C96BAgBEBs&biw=1315&bih=671&dpr=1#imgrc=alFmxkChlw3aOM:

A5- Module 10 I learned from this module that I value time significantly.
