Topics discussed will vary by semester and instructor, but may include affirmative action, ethical versus unethical sales and marketing techniques, the obligations of business to society, and the moral foundations of capitalism.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>How Did This Course Benefit Me?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">In this course, I learned various ethical approaches in both private and commercial business ventures. I applied my knowledge to a case study provided by the required text and effectively argued my perspectives as well as the exterior perspectives regarding the benefits and the setbacks to my case in a well-constructed essay. As a psychology major, I chose the case study <em>Testing for Honesty&nbsp;<\/em>as it involves behavioral motivations and how to effectively incorporate a testing method that ethically predict a potential employee&#8217;s behavior in the applied position.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/sedgwickbrettmleaders\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/29055\/2022\/11\/Case-Paper.pdf\" class=\"pdfemb-viewer\" style=\"\" data-width=\"max\" data-height=\"max\"  data-toolbar=\"bottom\" data-toolbar-fixed=\"off\">Case-Paper<br\/><\/a>\n<p class=\"wp-block-pdfemb-pdf-embedder-viewer\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>What Skills Did I Gain From This Experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Throughout this course I strengthened my written communication skills and my ability to defend a perspective effectively throughout the course through term papers in a professional manner.
