The five most serious violations that internet users do are bullying and trolling, recording a VoIP call without consent, faking identity online, collecting information about people younger than 13, and sharing passwords, addresses, or photos of others. I believe that bullying and trolling individuals online and in person is wrong and is rightly-so an illegal offense. No one should have to suffer for another person\u2019s enjoyment and should not be teased for anything. Voice of Internet Protocol calls (VoIP) is a serious offense in my opinion because people that don\u2019t know they are being recorded have a right to that information. Faking one\u2019s identity over the internet is another serious offense in my opinion because it is just as serious of an offense in person. People pretending to be someone they aren\u2019t might able to access their victim\u2019s information, trick friends and family members, and potentially hurt someone else\u2019s financial and reputable status. Collecting information about people younger than 13 is a serious offense because of the Children\u2019s Online Protection Act. This makes it illegal to obtain information through surveys of anyone under the age of 13 without parental consent. Lastly, sharing passwords, addresses, and\/or photos of others is a serious offense because it could potentially get someone hurt online or even in person.
