The first benefit I can see for researchers collecting information on data breaches is to attempt to anticipate where a breach is most likely to occur. By being able to anticipate possible target zones I believe researchers could create better protective software to ensure that this does not happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another benefit I could see to this information privacy rights offers would be to see the types of companies that are targeted the most, whether they are successful or not.
