Just Something to Ask Regarding Recent Cyberattacks on US Infrastructure

I have to ask, how much resources are directed towards cybersecurity towards Russian hacking (A genuine threat) compared to more frivolous or ephemeral programs? Admittedly, these appear to be state level governments, not the federal, and that may make them less protected, but it still seems to me one issue is we don’t put hacking attacks at first priority when considering cyber/information warfare with Russia. Russia really doesn’t have the military capacity to even sweep Europe, let alone try a real war with the US. Their goals have always been subtrefuge, so I would imagine we should fully maximize our effort in cybersecurity even if it means removing some frivolous feel good programs or departments.
