My name is Shamya Copeland and I’m a Sophomore at Old Dominion University. I am majoring in Cybersecurity. I am a beginner learner in Cybersecurity, so I don’t have much experience as of now. However, I am excited to gain experience throughout my educational journey. I am from Suffolk, Virginia and grew up in a small family of three including myself and my parents. I’m the only child and I have a dog named Taz (breed: shih tzu). Some things I like to do on my free time is spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy going out to eat, shopping, going to the movies, spending time at the beach, visiting theme parks, traveling out of town, etc. I would rather find fun things to do instead of staying indoors for a long period of time, especially when it’s warm outside. My two favorite seasons are spring and summer except I don’t enjoy the part where I have to deal with seasonal allergies and the fear of bugs, especially wasp and bees! When I choose to go see a movie, I hope to find a good horror movie because horror is my favorite genre. Also, throughout my day it is a must to find something delicious to eat. My favorite foods are pasta and seafood, Captain Georges Seafood is one of my favorite restaurants to enjoy a delicious fresh plate of crab legs and other seafood!
