Some of the disciplines I see represented in those 50 jobs are network security, cloud security, information security management, and cybercrime investigation. The two jobs I selected were Intrusion Detection Analyst and Artificial Intelligence Security Specialist. The most common/required skills for an intrusion detection analyst are Siem, incident response, firewall, analytical skills, detail oriented and problem-solving skills. I’m surprised that the average Intrusion Detection Analyst salary in the United States is $86,862 per year. Thats a good salary but I expected it to be higher because of all of the skills used for that career.

The most common/required skills for an Artificial Intelligence Security Specialist are programming proficiency, machine and deep learning, mathematics and statistics, computer vision, communication skills, problem- solving, etc. I was surprised that security automation and AI can save businesses more than 80% of the cost of manual security.
