The principles of science relate to cyber security by relativism, objectivity, parsimony, determinism, and ethical neutrality. They relate to cyber security in different ways. In today’s society, technology is advancing. With relativism, when one system changes, it leads to another change. A good example to me is if someone commits a crime, their first reaction is to put them in jail. They would try to think of a new approach. So, instead of putting them in jail first, keep them in custody and communicate with them. This also depends on the crime that was committed, I am talking about computer hacking in this scenario. This is when determinism is used. Determinism helps evaluate the behavior that is caused, determined, or influenced by preceding events. It could also be because of the self control theory. Self-control theory believes that an individual commits a crime because they have low self control. This theory is part parsimony. This is the simple explanation of why someone would commit a cyber crime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some people are interested in the “how” factor of cyber security. This is what I call objectivity. They wonder how people promote bad things through the internet and how they stop.It is not their own opinions they focus on. It is the understanding of why it is happening. Ethical neutrality is another group of people trying to keep the internet safe. They are more in depth about protecting the rights of individuals. Overall, the principle of science relates to cyber security because they are developing an understanding of cyber crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
