For my LeADERS experiences, I completed five different categories: Elective, Academic Internship, Diversity, Research, and Writing. Each one gave me something different to take with me and to learn from. My capstone helped me pull together what I learned in criminal justice and sociology. My cybersecruity internship gave me real experience outside of the classroom. Social Inequality helped me think more about people and the issues they deal with. Social Research Methods helped me understand how to pull information properly and understand tables. Sociological Theory helped me get better at writing, formatting, and supporting my theories with genuine sources backing it up. All of these classes together has helped me with finding better sources, conducting research, getting hands-on experience, and forming legitimate theories.
