I have not done much in the Spanish culture world, but I do hope that I can learn more about it in the near future when inproving my Spanish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have not done much for the Spanish culture community. One of the questions that I would love to know is what do you mainly do in the Spanish culture world. I love to learn about other cultures just as how I have been learning about mine. There are some issues at time with my culture. I am a Muslim and there was a time in my life where I got bullied for it. For example getting blamed for the tragic event of 9\/11 and getting made fun for it too. I just decided to ignore those comments because it does not benefit me for anything. I can not wait to finally fully understand my culture and the Spanish culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Engaging in Communities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I have not done much in engaging with the Spanish communities. I have done some in my own culture and would love to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In this picture are me, my siblings, and friends. We all grew up in America and have not known much about our culture. As we got older we decided to learn more about it. It is a very beautiful culture that people should consider into just looking at it. We have gone to events, gatherings, and other countries to know about our culture. So, I chose my friend, and it went well. When interviewing her she was really good with her responses because she did not know what I was going to ask her where I was struggling a little bit, but I was able to get through it. It was a little difficult because I was just learning Spanish. I went through the LingroLearning website to get a better understanding of the pronunciation. Next time I will ask more questions about the persons life and fun activities they like to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Presentational Speaking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In this assignment I had to talk about where my classes were and what I took. The reason why is because I did a really good job pronouncing the words and showing emotions. It did not really challenge me because I knew what I was talking about. It was a bit difficult because it was my first real assignment to write in Spanish. It became easier because it sort of got repetitive and it was a little difficult but only in the beginning. I just overcame it by just taking my time and making sure it was making sense. It has a variety of sources you can look into about Spanish. It can teach you how to pronounce words, the meaning behind them, and how to spell each word. At first it is challenging when you are just starting, but eventually you will get a better understanding of it. I overcame it by going on the website almost everyday and just go through each unit. What I found it interesting that there are different ways to pronounce words, same meanings but said differently. My takeaway is that do not just look at one unit, there are other units that you will find something new to learn.
