I also had to talk into my computer for some of the assignments. I also answered questions that were true or false, and fill in the blank.

Engaging in Communities

It’s very important for me to know Spanish and be able to speak it to people who speak Spanish.

The videos watched in class where very beneficial along with what I had to complete on Lingro Learning. Clicking and dragging answers to match up where the belong. Also talking to other students in class was very beneficial to my learning.

Interpersonal Communication

Talking to my teacher and other students in class was very important. It helped me engage more in what I was learning. It also helped me get better at speaking Spanish. Speaking Spanish is not the easiest thing for me so the practice was good.

Having to talk in class would certainly catch me off guard and I had to figure out how we were suppose to say it. It’s something that benefitted me because I had to be ready for what might come in class. We also would go over what to say after.

Presentational Speaking

The biggest speaking we did is when we would meet one on one with the teacher. We would get asked a few questions and have to respond back. It can be very hard if you don’t know the vocabulary.

Something that really challenged me is when we got further into the chapters and I had to answer questions about things other than myself. Having to know that vocabulary was hard but important for doing well.

Presentational Writing

We didn’t complete any presentation but talked and went through vocabulary every class that was beneficial to my learning.

Going through each class and learning how write out what I needed to say helped me learn more of the information. Then when speaking to the student I felt more confident in what I was saying.

Interpretive Listening

In Lingo Learning we would have to listen to someone speak and then have to answer with what they asked.

In Lingro Learning You would have to answer the homework questions with what they said or what they were asking. It could be really hard if you didn’t know what was being asked. So it was really important to use your vocabulary.

Interpretive Reading

In Lingro Learning there was always stories about different people and their background. It was never too long but always helped complete the work.

What was hard about it was not knowing all the words in the stories. It was tough sometimes to know exactly what they meant. Because I knew some of the vocabulary I could put together most of the time what they were talking about. I would look for words I knew and try and put it all together.

Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational Modes of Communication Exploring Culture Lingro Learning was a huge help and a reason for why I have done so well in this class.
