This semester It hasn’t been to much of a workload for the only thing is that I normally have to be able to expand more in my assignments and as for my professors I have had really good ones that are nice and will listen to your questions and concerns.Something that I wish I knew 14 weeks ago is that college is not as hard and stressful as your high school teachers say it is and as long as you do your work and study you will do great.

Study Habits:

At the end of the semester I try to spend around 10 hours a week studying for each class. Versus at the beginning of the semester i only would spend around 5 hours. My study habits have changed by looking back on any homework and assignments that I have done but also doing chapter worksheets that my professor gave us to help understand the material. A resource that I learned this semester is office hours and I hope that I will be able to use them next semester incase I need help in a class because this semester I was not able to use them for my chemistry class because the time it was at was when I had a different class going on.Some techniques that I will use going into next semester is looking over the material that we went through after class and making annotations on my notes on anything that i have a question on or something that would help me memorize It better.

Health Professions Learning Community:

Parallel Plan:

On major that I would want to do if I changed my major is Nuclear Medicine Technology because this program seems very fun to learn also there are a lot of jobs that you can get when you get out of school. Another major is speech pathology because you are still working with people in health but also there are a lot job opportunities that you can get with this major. The benefit to having a parallel plan in place is to be able to have another option in case the major that you intended to do is not working for you and also if you applied to the program and did not get in you will be able to figure out if you want to change your major or see if you wanted to do classes again to make you look better on your application.

My First Semester: I feel like I have grown a lot this semester In academics because in high school I would just do my work because I had to but now I make sure that I am understanding the material and also I am better at being able to expand my knowledge in answering questions. My…
