The 9 items include, preoccupation, tolerance, escape, persistence, withdrawal, conflict, problems, deception, and displacement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I scored a 1\/9 on this test. The question I answered es to was about quitting social media and failing. For me, social media is a form of contacting my friends, so quitting was very hard and I felt disconnected with the world because of how social media focused it is. I deleted multiple social media apps, but still have the basic ones like Instagram and Tik Tok. I thought the items in the scale were pretty severe. These items shwoed that there are people out there who let social media control their lifestyles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Different patterns are found across the world because in some areas, they may use less social media tan the United States and vice versa. Social media platforms and usage could vary because of the country or region.
