MSC maintains extensive maintenance and repair records for its vessels within a virtual technical library (VTL). A crucial step in creating accurate DT models is the digitalization of VTL\u2019s legacy documents and the extraction of information embedded in their artifacts, which include relevant details, such as instructions about tolerances, connection types, and materials. However, existing OCR tools perform poorly on MSC documents due to their low quality, outdated fonts, and noisy background.
