Workplace deviance refers to a desire to the neglect or the nature of not caring about the security systems you may maintain. There are multiple forms of workplace deviance in todays day in age as society heads into a more virtual and robotic world. One thing that has become more and more common is workers being laid off due to an AI being able to perform the same job as the same person working it. Now these people getting laid off will then show some form of deviance to said company by either lashing out back at the company by either A. attacking the company through its systems, or B. they could resort to other means of selling info about these systems to benefactors that would like to know how to hack into the company. Deviance can range from a variety of reasons of why they are caused or who even contributed to the incident. One of the more growing fields in this workplace deviance is forgetting basic things you are taught before even taking on the job. Most of these things can range from simple not following security protocol about badging into doors or even just sending an email among coworkers that includes personnel identifiable information on it which can lead to a spillage among the company if there was by chance already an insider threat due to the neglect at the company already. Most of these things can cause a chain reaction from simple neglect of the already in place protocols to say someone who has some form of neglect to the company and wishes ill will upon it. So its always best to watch and keep in contact with all workers no matter how you feel about them because its better to have happy workers then going bankrupt.
