1st Semester Freshman Year

During my first semester here at ODU, I received an outstanding 4.0 GPA during a pandemic. As we were faced with hard times, it was definitely a challenge but I still made it my mission to make it through. The extensive amount of hours studying and perfecting my love for education, helped me to realize everything happens for a reason. As I continue through Spanish, it helps me realize that achieving anything is possible and that I should never give up, even if it is hard. Along with many scholars here at ODU, I can truly say that my academic ability truly reflects on my performance.

Resident of The Month Award

Getting involved in the community is important to me. With every opportunity I’ve had, I participated in every event on campus dealing with student involvement. I’ve been to 59 meetings according to Campus Groups and additional, where I checked in at the sight. I enjoy interacting with others as well as getting to know Old Dominion better. This award represents my hard work.

I went with a three-dimensional popcorn themed bulletin following the theme “Popping into a new semester.”
