My name is Kayla Massenburg, a current undergraduate student at Old Dominion University majoring in International Studies with a minor is Human Services. As I pursue my degree in international studies, I plan on furthering my career and becoming a translator while focusing on human services to help people meet their individual needs. As I have studied foreign languages for the past seven years, my passion for Spanish developed as I attended the governor&#8217;s school located in my hometown Richmond, Va.  In my portfolio, I will be showcasing the skills we have developed in Spanish 312W from grammatical skills to fluency by practicing reading continuously. It shows the progress as a student I have made and showcases some of the work I have completed. Throughout the semester, with many corrections, Spanish 312 has broaden my personal horizons to follow guidelines while also putting my creative spin on the content.
