Jessica Shoen

My name is Jessica and I am a freshman at ODU. I am seeking a criminal justice degree with a minor in psychology. My goal is to be a guidance counselor for the school system or a counselor for the police department. My goal is to help people and for them to know there is help out there. Mental health is not something talked about and is seen as taboo. I want to be that change in the world.

After I receive my bachelor’s degree I would like like to go to graduate school. I would like to get my masters in counseling. Besides helping people I am an animal lover and love to travel. My dream would be to be a counselor online so I could travel the world. I am a tattoo lover and I myself love to draw, and I have a passion for art. I love to visit museums in different cities. I am also a music lover, I love all kinds of music and love to dance.
