My listening skills improved by completing audio assignments and paying close attention during class activities. At first, it was difficult to understand spoken Spanish at a normal speed, but with practice, I started recognizing common words and phrases. Listening exercises helped me focus on the main idea even if I did not understand every word. Over time, I became more confident in my ability to understand spoken Spanish. I have always loved Spanish music and now I can understand it better. I also am able to watch Spanish speaking shows on Netflix without a heavy focus on the English subtitles.
