This course is a research-based class with a small group of Spanish majors. Each student is assigned to write a research paper with a topic of their interest \u2014 mostly connected to the skills\/concepts that they have learned during their journey in the university. Our assignments consisted of the major parts of writing a paper, such as writing a prospectus, annotated bibliography, clarification essay, first draft, peer review, etc. Throughout the semester, we had in-depth discussions in class about applying the appropriate research methods and theoretical framework related to our chosen topic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was a short paper explaining the subject that we expect to write about for our paper. It’s basically a proposal describing why we chose the topic, what we already know about it, and how we plan to address the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
