Throughout this class and my sport management journey so far I have had nothing but fun and excitement about learning new things. From the very first post, of this class especially, I have been learning new and key information that I will use and need throughout my career and post-college life. One of the more important assignments from this class was the Pen-pal series of assignments. These posts allowed me to reach out and form a genuine connection with someone in the industry that I will shortly be in but also has a job that I would want some day.

I used my Pen-Pal assignment to form a networking and industrial connection with George Murphy of the Pittsburgh Penguins. These assignments opened up this channel of communication for me to form a networking connection that I can use after college, whether that be for asking questions or for advice. Another thing I enjoyed about this assignment and class is how we kept track of our work with the WordPress. This is something I have never done or worked with, but I thoroughly enjoyed figuring out and working in this software. I thought it was a clean and cool-modern way to showcase and keep track of our work throughout the semester.

Concluding and looking back on this class I will keep the information with me and will always be thinking and working with the things I learned this semester. I would say this is more true for this class than most of the others I ended up completing throughout my time at ODU. The groundwork and knowledge set for me to use and learn more as I tackle the challenges of professional and post-college life.
