I completed an exciting internship that took me through many areas of today’s technology. I started the day by exploring the world of fashion design on Canva. I created a fascinating t-shirt image for direct-to-garment printing using Canva’s user-friendly platform. Achieving a smooth translation of the concept into cloth required striking a balance between creativity and practicality. Through this process, I improved my communication and marketing abilities by learning how to represent brand identity visually.

After that, I experimented with microcontrollers and microbit coding. It was eye-opening to learn about these tiny computer devices; scripting animated pictures challenged my technical abilities and promoted STEM education. The encounter highlighted the connection between creativity and technology, which is critical in today’s digital environment.

Afterwards, I created a custom plant container to learn about 3D printing. Starting with a customized pot design and working my way up to herb gardening, I saw STEM concepts come to life. Overcoming design obstacles strengthened my technical and cybersecurity skills by highlighting the importance of problem-solving capabilities in technological fields.

Lastly, utilizing Tinkercad for laser cutting was a precise and thrilling experience. A working phone stand’s meticulous and accurate design strengthened my comprehension of design ideas and manufacturing processes.

I kept a journal of my thoughts and feelings during these encounters, carefully considering how I was achieving the internship’s learning goals. Every job highlights various aspects of technical expertise, good communication, and STEM education. As I continue my activities, I look forward to further growing and exploring these exciting subjects.
