Cyber technology has given opportunities for workplace deviance. It is so easy for an employee to harm the organization online because of their own free will to do things. The internet is easier to operate with. Anyone with malicious intent can be the one to harm organization. What if that person had personal skills and used that to their advantage to backdoor/betray their workplace for personal gain. On social media, things are easier to share and personal information that is confidential can be let go & as we know, anyone can be found on the net. There is just a lot of opportunities for deviance. It has gotten easier with new technologies. People can have fake accounts, spread information easier, blackmail people, etc.
