In my critical analysis essay I chose to write about Marxism in music. I chose these as they are two things I am fairly familiar with as well as passionate about. Marxism was my favorite theory discussed in the class and I felt that the band Rage Against the Machine used elements of this theory in their music. Though looking back I wish I had used plenty more examples and been more specific I am not upset with how it turned out.
