Reviewing the NICE Framework

The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education framework (NICE framework) is used as a reference to classify skill requirements and duties for cybersecurity workers. It analyzes threats from multiple sources. It helps provide a common definition for cybersecurity. The NICE framework is cut into seven categories and those are made up of 33 specialty areas, but then are broken down into work roles which all add up to 52. The seven categories are the main cybersecurity functions. If I had to choose a job, it would be to protect and defend because I am currently studying how to identify and analyze possible security threats and I feel like it would come naturally on what to look out for when a threat is visible. All These Jobs require a team, and I am very understanding of how to be a team player. I would take my job very seriously and know what to do when a threat is visible. The job that is least appealing to me is the analysis job because all you do is just review cybersecurity information and determine if it is useful or not. The analysis job would not be a good job for me because I do not like a lot of reading, I only like hands-on projects that is why the protect and defend is perfect for me. Another job that I have been looking at is securely provision, they design and build IT systems and networks. This would be a good job for me because I like to build and be a part of something that would help networks and societies be safer and stronger.
