My name is Stephen Price Jr. I’m currently a Junior at Old Dominion University and my major is Cybersecurity Risk Management. My short-term goal is to continue learning, growing, and obtaining my bachelor’s degree. In addition, I will be working towards obtaining my CompTIA Security+ Certification. This will enable me to obtain a cybersecurity position when I graduate. To improve my cybersecurity skills, I am currently working at the IT Help Desk at ODU as a Help Desk Student Technician. I assist students and faculty members at ODU and EVMS with issues with their email, passwords, computers, printers, hardware, and software through phone calls, emails, and walk-ins. This job has tremendously helped me to gain work experiences that I’ll need to get started in my career, and it will enable me to continue to build on my technical skills, communication skills, critical thinking, and knowing what it means to be a successful fast-paced worker.
