CYSE 201S
Welcome to Cybersecurity and the Social Sciences. This course addresses the social, political, legal, criminological, and social science framework. It also gives attention to the social factors that contribute to cyber incidents and the political and legal mechanism that are developed to control the behaviors of those who create risks in business environments. This course also explores how cybersecurity is studied by social scientists in psychology, political science, criminology, economics, sociology, international studies, and other social science disciplines. I look forward to learning more about the human factors approach to better understand cybersecurity threats and to develop defensible solutions that will enable companies to make well informed decision to address cybersecurity risks.
