Compare cybersecurity risks in the U.S. and another country.
The United States has seen a huge increase of cyber attacks and the risk that stands out most would be from other countries, specifically Russia and China also known as Nation-State hackers. For the most part each country has a similar list of cybersecurity risks, though Americans are dealing with phishing becoming more sophisticated, ransomware strategies evolving, crypto-jacking, and like as I stated before state sponsored attacks. Hackers from other countries are attempting to hack into political mainframes to disrupt the election process that proceeds in America. With each attack more advances in cyber security is made but there is a constant battle with outside entities that make it a never ending battle.
In comparison to the U.S, the United Kingdom created an Active Cyber Defense program that has prevented thousands of attacks and reduced the average time that a phishing site is online from 27 hours to 1 hour. Though America is at the top portion of the list for ranking in cyber security the United Kingdom has excelled in the creation of cyber security protocols that keep their infrastructure safe.
Looking at other countries the country of Myanmar has created minimal legislation to combat cyber attacks and has created a huge impact on the risks. With minimal legislation to combat cyber attacks, the risk of phishing, trojans and all other kinds of cyber threats is at a critical level. This is a huge difference between the US and Myanmar. Legislation is one of the biggest impacts on cyber attacks for a country. Due to the fact that the US will evolve each of the measures taken to combat cyber attacks and Myanmar will do nothing of the sort, it seems like an eye opening subject when dealing with personal, business and secret insider information.
America is not perfect in their security, though there are ways for improvement for any subject you are dealing with.
