 How can you tell if your computer is safe?

When looking at a personal computer and making sure it is safe there are many measures you must look at to verify this problem. Each computer will have the access to a personal program for antivirus and firewall but there are many other measures to look at when determining if you computer is safe. If you want to start determining if your computer is safe it will start with looking at the system programs for anti virus and firewall. Is the program up to date? Are the settings verified to be at the level you are looking for in regards to security? See, there are many methods to establish a computer with the correct programs to keep it safe but if the files are out of date or the settings aren’t correctly set up, you many run into many risks.

In the new age of computers and social media and all the thousands of programs that are running on your system, you must take a look at all the settings that are available to fill in the loopholes into your system. Many sites will ask for access to information or have a the settings set up when you first create the profile that will leave you vulnerable. Search the sites that you use and update all settings to create a safe environment for your system and information, also if you are not using sites anymore, delete the profiles and data that are stored on them. This will all create a harder path to the information stored on your computer and eliminate unwanted risks from areas you were unaware can cause a problem. Look at your everyday use of the internet and you can create a pathway to a secure computer. You never want to make easy access to any of the information you store on your personal computer, and always create a complicated password.
