How has cyber technology created opportunities for workplace deviance?

With the advancement of cybersecurity the creation of workplace deviance, the process of causing possible harm to a company from a worker in the company. The creation of spaces that are only available to certain employees, the creation or a possibility of an insider threat exists. Even if a worker is unaware of the harm that occurs when they are deviating from a cyber security plan, you open the doors to the possibility of human error. With that in mind you also create a scenario where someone will try to get hired on to a company to provide access to important information, theft of information or to intentionally creating damage to a company. It is hard to set up barriers for such problems though through a structured hiring process, training and supervision this can help in some ways though the risks are always at hand. When hiring someone you never know how far their integrity goes. All that a company can do is mediate the risks of their information and create a method to not have all of their eggs in one basket. If small amounts of data have been breached with a theft, the separation of information can create a method where the perpetrator cannot fully use the information. Either way, any cyber crime committed to a company can cause irreversible damage by either creating a feeling of uncertainty with investors, stolen ideas or personal information or fines and though its hard to make sure everyone abides by the rules the methods you structure your framework can help in many ways to avoid many of these problems.
