Over the next year, I will attend United States Navy Test Pilot School (TPS), the premiere flight engineering course found within the Department of Defense. During TPS, I will be required to analyze current air platforms and provide accurate metrics, highlight deficiencies, and recommend solutions to ensure the United States continues to evolve faster than its adversaries. I had to complete a fluid mechanics course to obtain acceptance into TPS, and success in this curriculum is essential to the continuation of my service to this country.

A deep understanding of fluid mechanics is a must in flight engineering. Understanding how fluids behave in different environments is critical to sound judgment and analysis. This course will provide me with the base I need to ensure success as I step into the next chapter of my career.
