eP: Top Artifact One

For this assignment, there were many different archives to choose from. The module three archive resonated with me the most because I always say that opposites do attract. I like when there is research and proven studies to educate me. I am firm believer in reading information for myself before I take information that I am not sure of from some one else. For example, if I am having a conversation with my friend group and the topic is something that I am not sure of, I will research until I find the facts.

This assignment expanded my knowledge because I can say that similarity leads to attraction. While reading, I could see why psychologist say that similarity leads to attraction because I personally like men who are like me in some ways. I find it attractive when a man has the same personality as me. I also like it when people are on the same page as me about different things. However, I do believe that the person has to have some type of history with another person. I say this because when people are around each other for a while they begin to pick up the same habits as the person.

eP: Top Artifact Two

The chapter that resonated with me the most from this module was, module seven which breaks down attitude formation and our attitude towards certain things in our lives. It was good for me to learn about positive and negative reactions towards things. I do tend to hold attitudes towards something or someone if it leaves an impression on me whether it is good or bad. For example, if I go to a restaurant and the service was not that good, I would then form an negative attitude towards that restaurant. Therefore, any time it is mentioned to me I would have that attitude that i formed in mind.

I think that it is good to really take a dive into yourself and apply what is being taught and learned to yourself and see if what you are reading applies to you. Although, it may not always apply to you personally it could still apply to someone in your circle. It also good just to have this knowledge in the back of your mind so that you could say that you have learned more in depth about attitudes. The more you know the better. You could even spread knowledge to your peers around you.

eP: Top Artifact Three

I chose module twelve for this assignment because I learned the different types of aggression and why the aggression is there. People can be aggressive in so many ways and to be able to now recognize the name for it is helpful to me. I took this course because I wanted to know why and how does the world function the way that it does. This course has provided me with plenty insight and new topics that I did not know anything about.

The Cyberbullying section of this module is what really stood out to me. We currently live in a time where everyone is on social media, all age groups have social media accounts. Cyberbullying has been around for a while now but with everyone so attached to their phones and social media accounts, the bullying is constantly happening. I think that social media should be a fun place for everyone to have fun and just share little parts of their lives. There are people on social media sites that bully people and judge them and that is just not right. No one should be judged based off something that was posted on the internet. It should be a safe space for everyone to go to.
