ATA 1

I learned what all that heuristics are in social psychology. The saying “you learn something new every day” is very true. I experienced it during this assignment. I learned what status quo heuristics means and after reading about it, I learned that I some times use that heuristic. It is applied to my personal life because I do not accept change well. The image that is attached is a definition of what an heuristic is from an outside source.

ATA 2

I learned from this assignment that images have deeper meanings. I always take pictures and just let sit in my photo gallery until they are of some use. However, letting the images sit is a smart thing to do because images are memories of a special event, place or anything to remember certain things by. I learned that you can look back at an image and picture yourself in that exact moment and time. I believe that it is also important to have images of family and friends because you could always have something to remember that person by. People that I have encountered in my life, I would want to have something to make me reminisce on the memories that we created together. I also learned that a self-portrait has a deeper meaning. It is how you view yourself and what do you see when you are looking at yourself.

ATA 3

This assignment taught me something new. The saying “you learn something new everyday” is what came to my mind when I was completing it. It taught me that there is different styles of love and how they are grouped off. I also was not aware that there is a test to show your love style. I enjoyed taking the test because it really made me sit back and question how I operate in relationships. Overall, it was fun to see which category I fell into.

ATA 4

What I took away from assignment four is that there is all types of love. I had no idea that there was a test to grade yourself and see which category best fits your love style. You really do learn something new everyday. This is why I signed up for this course to get a better understanding of why we function the way that we do. I like a course that I not only learn in but also enjoy learning in. I made a mistake and did this assignment twice so that is why the assignment above this is the same.

ATA 5

Assignment five was a fun assignment because of the task we had to complete. The assignment was to do five random acts of kindness for strangers or people you know. I chose strangers and people I knew because you should try to make at least person’s day. I did my random acts of kindness and it was so nice to see people smile just because of one simple thing you did. It shows how grateful and appreciative people are of you. This is similar to the love test because the love test was showing you what type of love style you have and I think that it relates because in assignment five you got see what acts of kindness I chose and that relates back to my type of love style in a sort.
